So I’ve had a lot of stuff going on recently, and have slowed down my drawing/posting rhythm (you may have noticed; and if not, never mind!). And yet again, it has been confirmed to me that the internet is like a particularly annoying lover: the less attention you pay it, the more excited with you it is.

To wit: I was just checking up on the ol’ Tumblr, and realized that I have been steadily accumulating followers, despite my laxity. All of a sudden, I am almost at 300! 299, to be exact. So, as per usual, I offer my 300th follower, whomever they may be (assuming they’re a real person and not some kind of porn-nymphet-spambot), an archival digital print of a drawing of their choice.

And of course, should any and all of you want a print of any drawing, I am more than happy to accomodate for a small fee.

Lucky number 300, I await you with open arms. To the rest of you, thank you all once again for being such a lovingly willing captive audience.

I always assumed that the way blogs worked was that the more you posted, the better for your blog. Once again, I wear my interwebs naiveté on my sleeve, and once again the interwebs has seen fit to correct me.

Despite (because of?) my downturn in productivity, I have been amassing new followers — and not spam ones, either; really cool, interestingly curated blogs. Chic!

To the point: I am nearing 200 followers (which, again, is small potatoes in the land of the internet famous, but utterly insane to me). Which means (drumroll please): time for another giveaway! To my 200th follower, whoever and wherever you may be, I pledge to thee one (1) print of your choice. You have 230-odd images to choose from.

To the rest of you, I will happily make any and all of you a print for a modest fee (see the About page). And thank you once again for your kind attention; this Tumblr business has been too much fun.

xo,
Sholem.

Hello,
So I am approaching 100 followers. Sure sure, this is small potatoes in the land of the internet famous, but it’s something I never really thought would happen, especially given the constraints of what I do up in here.

But I digress. Point being: I want to bestow a little something special on my 100th follower, and I have decided to bestow upon them an archival print of any one of the 126 drawings (and counting) on here.

(Of course, there’s every possibility that, having posted this slightly premature message, I will start hemorrhaging fickle followers).

Which brings me to my second point, which I’m surprised I didn’t think of earlier (see: Spectacularly Rich, Why I Am Not Yet). On the off chance that you’re reading this and thinking “well, I’m special, I’m following this, I want a print, what gives?” my answer to you is: well, Mr or Miz Grabby-Hands, you can buy a print!

For $45 (this includes shipping), you can have your very own archival print of whichever drawing on this here blog strikes your fancy. Simply send me an email with the number of the drawing you want, and I will send you a PayPal invoice, and faster than you can say “shipping from Toronto to most national and international destinations takes 5-10 business days” you will have your signed print!

So, to summarize: 100th follower, I await your warm embrace, whoever and wherever you may be. To the rest of you: I thank you for being such a delightful captive audience.
